Next we went to my favorite museum- National Gallery!
Sunday.... primary = hell. Those kids were the worst I've EVER seen them. And it's really gonna throw you for a loop when I write that it was also my best Sunday yet. Wierd how that works, but there was a moment during singing time, when even the naughties were singing the words, and it made it all worth it at least just knowing that they really are learning something- even when it doesn't seem like it. Even though it was a reeeeally short moment. I love them through their naughtiness. I would post a picture, I take my camera every week to take pictures, but it's WAY easier said than done. I can't get them to sit still for 2 seconds.
Every week when we go to church, we are greeted and hugged and kissed by so many people. It's the kindest group of people anywhere. They have a lot going for them.
I realized that I don't write about school very much. Classes and homework take up a BIG chunk of my time here, and it's a constant battle between leaving the centre or being productive in school. Even though it's hard sometimes to have a good attitude about school, I just can't help but be SO thankful for all the work and studying I have to do. I wish I had more time (and more will-power) to be a better student, because my teachers are SOOOOO knowledgable and passionate about their subjects, it's hard not to fall in love with everything they teach. Also, the fact that they have based their class syllabus on things we get to see and experience here, it is SO cool. We are learning in the exact place where all this stuff took place. It's like going to the Olympics in Greece. I can't get over it.
Also I'm so glad I'm here because I'm learning about subjects that are really interesting and exiting to me, but realistically, I probably wouldn't have ever taken the classes.
Monday I went to the British Library, for the third time. It's definitely on the top of my favorites list. I get SO overwhelmed in the treasures room.
I am obsessed with the Beatles. I love them. Can't wait to go to Liverpool.
So I finally made my way to Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross train station (Yes it really does exsist, and yes, Harry Potter really is real).
Monday night I saw the play "Warhorse", it was good- but not at all what I expected. Lets just say.... they focused more on the horse part than on the war part. It was one of those plays that had really good potential, and kinda overdid it with the all the drama. On the other hand, it was made more enjoyable to me because I could follow the references about World War one because of everything I've learned in my politics class, and I knew the situations they were talking about with the kaiser and everything. Having knowledge is so cool.

i'm so glad you love the beatles! My dad extreamly happy you do too! He told me that the Tavern doesn't exist anymore. I hope you didn't try looking for it. But, he said go to the beatles museum if you love him. well, he mostly said go for him and take lots of pictres... if you love him? something like that.
