So happy

I smiled all day today, I love this place. It makes me look like a MAJOR tourist because the Londoners don't exactly walk around smiling haha. Today I started off with a run around Hyde Park and Kensington gardens. The humid air makes it so I can actually breath... and apparantly I was exited enough about that to write about it. Me and some friends took the Tube and walked around the city. The Victorian buildings everywhere are SWEET and the cars all look old fashioned. I. love. it. This is a really modern city but it has such an old fashioned feel to it, and the accents are my favorite. I hope I can pull off a legit one by the time I fly out of here. Today I saw LOTS of random buildings that I hope to go see and learn more about... at one church we ran into a man who told us that some tavern where Charles Dickens liked to stay at was down the street, and this church was the one that was supposed to be outside of Scrooge's house that and Scrooge could see the church bell out his window. Unfortunately I have not read that book so I cant verify this. YET. There are countless things like that here, like Gracechurch Street- where Elizabeth Bennett went to live with her aunt and uncle:) Oh and i stood on London Bridge. (It actually wasn't very eventful. Not even slightly dangerous.) We also went to Portabella Road, which is like a cool thing on Saturdays. Probably where all the coolest people hang out and buy stuff. We also went to Covent Gardens and Picadilly Circus (Times Square of England) to look around. I've only bought a hat so far (Which is saying somethin considering all the things I WANTED to buy). I feel like I've seen so much- And this is only day one. I could be wrong, (not), but I'm assuming this is going to be a very good 4 months.
