Cowboy's N' Indians!

Sunday: Church. Primary was.... rambunctious. Those kids have some PIPES! They can scream real loud. But like I said earlier, they're adorable. They know all the answers, and when they say them out loud it's cuter than when the American children say them out loud. I got asked to bare my testimony in church, and they asked me to speak for an upcoming week. I have a feeling they like to use the BYU students for all they're worth. Sunday night was a reeeeally fun night. I made all 8 roomies gather in our fine little dorm, and a tribal meeting was held. We made up a team motto- Chest hey kitty sea (Just take it easy, thank you MadGab) and settled the rules for our room. And then we went on an indian rampage and ate all the leftover chocolate cake, while the other girls from non-tribal rooms ate leftover salad (I'm serious). It was a fun night. Except we all felt SICK after that.
Today: I woke up and ran a little and almost got attacked by an angry swan, but it's ok, it made me run faster.
Then Reesa and I went to Kensington Palace and did the tour. It was so cool, they had many of princess Diana's fancy dresses,(she lived there fyi) and Queen Victoria's room was still there with the same furnishings (she lived there also), and Queen Mary's room (guess what, she lived there). Queen Victoria I was Englands most loved queen, there are statues of her everywhere. It was really cool to see where she lived before she moved to Buckingham Palace. For more information, watch the movie "Young Victoria", it's SO good.
Then we went to John Soane's house (technically a museum now). It was actually one my favorite things I've seen so far this whole time. He was the professor of architecture at the Royal Academy, and he collected... things. It's hard to explain, you need to go there. He lived there alone after his wife died, and he has amazing.. things... everywhere. He collected Roman columns, Egyptian carvings, a sarcophagus, books, paintings, carvings, and MUCH more. It is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I love how he was so passionate and cared so much about what he did. He went to such extremes, his house is FILLED. It was quite a sight.
I think I need to go to a play soon.
I haven't bought anything here yet, and my friends all think I'm insane because they've all bought tons of stuff. And then, I saw some cowboy boots today, and all of the sudden..... well, I'll stop there just to spare you from the mushy stuff. But I LOVE them.

  1. You bought cowboy boots in England? Weird. Chocolate cake is delicious. You should carry some in your stretchy tights to feed to angry swans.
