London Bridge just MIGHT fall down.

I really like food. Seriously. I hope my dear bunk-mate Mary sleeps with a helmet, because I'm not sure how long the bunk bed (or London Bridge for that matter) will be able to hold me up. This is a picture of Mary and I, we have a secret bunk-mate bond that can never be broken. Secret hand signals and everything. Anyways, People warned me that the food here wouldn't be one of the highlights, well I have something important to tell the world, and it's that the food in London is definitely not bad. I'm mostly just exited because I found a gelato place called Gelato Mio and it's my new favorite. And the candy here is yummy. And the bread everywhere is to die for. (I wish I could say something about the vegetables, but they are just the same.) AND there is Nutella eeeeverywhere. Anyways,I just really like food. Uh- moving on...
I went to the Tower of London! It was definitely a highlight so far, there is so much history in that place. The stories are so interesting, and you get to be right where it all happened. It was a prison and a torture chamber, and many people were beheaded there, including lady Jane Grey and Ann Boleyn. There was an exhibit on Henry XIII, showing all his armor, weaponry, and sporting equipment. It was really really interesting. This place is also the home of the crowned jewels, and (as you can imagine) I've never seen so many diamonds in my LIFE. The people that have worn those crowns definitely deserve respect. The more I learn about them the more I am glad I'm not running a country. I love seeing all these important artifacts and pieces of history.
I also went to the National Gallery, and spent the whole time in the 1700-1900 paintings. Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne, Picasso.... the list goes on. I LOVE PAINTINGS!
After the Gallery we went to Herrods, which is the second largest department store in the world (or something). I almost died in the food halls because I was so overwhelmed by all the delicious food surrounding me, but other than that, looking at expensive clothes was nothing compared to how I felt at the museum. I don't like the attitude of all the expensive clothes buyers, they looked at my SWEET rainboots funny.
I love Hyde Park. It is so nice to wake up and run there. It's green and has swans. I run with swans! And there's cool statues and ponds randomly all over. I love it.
Tonight I watched Young Victoria with my roomies, it was a really really good show. I can literally walk to Kensington Palace (Where she was raised) in 3 minutes. Maybe I'll go do just that right now.
p.s. it's been one week!
