Dang we've packed a LOT into the last couple of days!

First of all, I finally went to see Big Ben and the House of Parliment and the London Eye,

it was really neat of course. I LOVE every building here. I love buildings.
I went to my new ward on Sunday, and almost all the members are from Africa and the West Indies. I hope everyone can FEEL the happiness radiating from the words in that sentence. Those people make me so happy. They were so welcoming, and their ward is BOOMING with culture and diversity. Me and the other 2 BYU girls in that ward were the only of our kind, finally I'm a minority! It makes me so happy! I got called to be in the primary, the little black kids with english accents have a cuteness that's impossible to describe. I am SO exited to go back on Sunday:)
I also went to the British Museum, and I no longer feel the need to travel to Greece or Egypt (both of which are on my to do list) because everything I wanted to see at either place is at the British Museum! (besides the Sphynx).

Really though, I was just in awe looking at the frieze and pediments from the parthenon. I had NO idea I'd be seeing those here. I forgot that Greek sculpture is actually my favorite. As soon as

I walked in that room I was like "oh yeeeaah!" and flashed back to high school AP Art History where Greek sculpture definitely was my favorite. It just amazes me. Seeing the Parthenon was incredible.

I also saw Stonehenge (which was MAJORLY on my to do list- along with the 4 corners, don't ask why, for I do know not) and it was so cooool. It was freezing, but quite fulfilling.

Now I will write about one of the grandest things my eyes ever did behold thus far in my lifetime: Salsbury Cathedral.(that was a terribly written sentence).

I was really exited to see it because I remember studying it previously, and in the real life it was indescribable. Not only the cathedral itself, but the paintings of it by John Constable.

There is one at the National Gallary that I just LOVE.

That cathedral is so spectacular, I really want to go back someday.
Today we went to Bath. It's a town. An adorable town. A favorite place of Jane Austen, if you can imagine. Her book Northanger Abbey

is set in Bath and we visited the Ball rooms which I thought was cool, but the boys thought it was really dumb. This is the town that "Northanger Abbey" is set in. Really good book.

In Bath there are also the Roman Baths, which was a cool hang out place for Romans.

It's a building they built over a hot spring so they could hang out and stuff. Tons of history. The museum was cool and I almost jumped in because it looked so warm.
Well, that's all for today! I'm still just loaded with homework and books to read, but it generally makes everything have more meaning I GUESS.
