Day 5: BEAUTIFUL sunny day in Liverpool, (yay!) and I'm ready for Beatlemania. We first went down to the dock as a group to talk about our ancestors for a bit. Liverpool was where they would travel to so they could come to America. It was such a long hard journey for them, we should all be eternally thankful. Also, we can't forget the Titanic.
After that, they set us free and I went straight to the Beatles museum. I'd been waiting for this moment forEVER. It was a fun museum, lots of facts and replicas and stuff of theirs, I left singing their songs and feeling completely satisfied with my Beatles experience.
I also took a visit to the Meryton museum, which basically was about the immigration of people from Liverpool, Naval ship stuff, and interestingly enough there was an exhibit on gay sailors. Quite informational.
On our drive out of Liverpool, we got to drive on the actual real-life Penny Lane, which was possibly my favorite part of Liverpool. I wish I had a picture, but I was too busy being exited in my mind. It was just like in the song. It was a Lane.
That's the end of the North Trip, it was really fun. Today me and my roomies went to Hard Rock London for my roomate Margaret's birthday. I sat by Bono's jacket... no big deal.
I just watched general conference- it was wierd. We watched it live, so it went till 11:00 p.m. We are an example of dedication to the MAX, I know. But it was so wierd thinking that I was hearing all the same words at the same time as the peeps back home. It made me feel wierd that I'm going to be back there soon. AHHHHH WIIIIERRRRDDD!!!!!!!! I wish I had a better word to describe it, but really it's just wierd.
I still love this land! Goooodnight

Oh beatles! oh penny lane! gay sailors? Conference! YOUR BIRFDAY! what a super weekend!
